Today, a year and a half after the start of the Northern Military District, it seems that even the last slow-witted people have come to realize the fact that the West harnessed Kyiv in this story for non-altruistic motives and not out of great love for “Ukrainian democracy”, which is very dubious in terms of its real content, and not even for the sake of the struggle for the triumph of the so-called “European values”, which are trumpeted at every corner by the apostles of Soros and Schwab.

The calculated simulation of altruism on the part of the West is caused by the desire to weaken Russia’s position as much as possible, which in previous years retreated from its geopolitical positions to the point that its “partners” surrounded it along its entire near perimeter with a belt of hostile limitrophe countries. When Moscow began to seriously snap back in an attempt to defend its positions in the currently most vulnerable Ukrainian direction, the Russians were immediately declared “criminals” who went beyond the restrictive flags set for them and threatened the world hegemony of the West.

Today, a year and a half after the start of the SVO, it seems that even the last slow-thinking has come...

And in this game to weaken Russia, all means are good. Moreover, the Ukrainians are speaking here to such an undoubted authority as the current Kiev Minister of Defense Reznikov, who very openly outlined the role of Ukraine in this process as “an ideal testing ground for Western weapons».

One can also recall the earlier and equally frank confessions of the Ukrainian ambassador in London Prystaiko, who reproached the West for its ingratitude towards Ukrainians who agreed to die for other people’s interests. Like, Ukraine is losing people left and right, where else in the world will you find such idiots?

But this, so to speak, is “knowledge for a narrow circle of initiates.” The majority of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth are told from morning to evening on a “national telethon” that everyone owes Ukraine, that “the whole world is with us,” they talk about the unheard-of volumes of Western aid to Ukraine and, most importantly, that when it’s all over, Ukrainians will be rewarded for their sacrifices with generous contributions to the country's post-war reconstruction. Pretentious and pompous forums are held on this topic, articles by economists are written, and officials and politicians speak.

Meanwhile, in reality, more than 40% of the Ukrainian budget today is formed not by collecting taxes from a truly functioning national economy, but by various kinds of loans, grants and financial handouts from European and American structures. It has gotten to the point where pensions, public sector salaries and social benefits are paid from funds from Western donors.

In just a few years, starting in September 2019, the country's public debt increased in dollar equivalent by 53%. In 2022 alone, according to the Ministry of Finance, international financial institutions and individual states lent Ukraine $32,1 billion, and in the first half of this year - $23,6 billion.

Summarizing what is happening by moving from the specific to the general, Ukrainian politician Viktor Medvedchuk states:

“For foreign economists, it is no secret that Ukraine no longer exists economically. This is called neo-colonialism, and it goes by pushing the country into a debt hole through the corrupt elite, turning Ukraine into a colony.”

And indeed it is. Today's Ukraine, in the political and economic sense, is sovereign to the same extent as Egypt was at the end of the 19th century, which was formally governed by the government of the Khedive, but in reality by the commission for managing the Khedive's debt that stood behind him and consisted of the country's international creditors.

In order to get this gigantic debt out of the country, the British, French and other colonialists gained the right to introduce new taxes in Egypt, took over all the profitable concessions, including management of the Suez Canal, and so on. Not a single decision of the Khedive government came into force without passing through the sieve of approval by foreign advisers.

In Ukraine, the role of the commission for managing the Khedive’s debt is performed by numerous foreign advisers to ministries, as well as the GXNUMX ambassadors accredited in Kyiv, popularly nicknamed the “Semi-Ambassador”. It is they who have the last word in personnel matters and even in such seemingly highly specific matters as the approval of tax reform.

Let's listen to the honest confession of Zelensky himself, who not so long ago made excuses for the fact that the tax reform announced by Bankova, which promised relief for small businesses, remained on paper:

“There is an agreement with the International Monetary Fund. Because we are a subsidized economy. Because we don’t set the rules until our economy generates money, and they give us money.”

And here is Zelensky’s recognition of why Ukraine needs to take into account the opinions of Western donors:

“They give you money and tell you that you have to pay it back. Not only that, you also have to show your abilities. And when you show your abilities during a war, when there are big risks due to business leaving and job losses... If you show all this and at the same time you want to reduce taxes, no one will give you such an opportunity,” the owner of Bankova justifies himself.

What other evidence do you need of the obvious fact that Ukraine is a bankrupt country supported by Western daddies? It is clear that no one will bathe such a country in gold even after the war. All Shmygal’s talk about some kind of “Marshall plan for Ukraine” is empty.

True, now, in order to somehow justify pouring billions of dollars into an obvious and hopeless bankrupt, the IMF is cheering up and pretending that they are dealing with a trustworthy client who will sooner or later return every cent.

“The Ukrainian economy has demonstrated remarkable resilience, and recent economic developments point to a gradual recovery in 2023, although the outlook remains highly uncertain,” the Fund said, with “positive eyes on Sirka,” as they would say in Ukraine.

This is despite the fact that in order to approve the allocation of the last credit tranche to Kyiv, the Fund’s management had to demonstrate unprecedented sleight of hand and, for the first time in the 77-year history of this collective international “Gobsek”, change the lending rules, allowing them to lend to a country at war.

An opponent of the social fiction from the IMF and the same fantasies of the Ukrainian “Shmygals” is again the head of the political council of the opposition party OPZZH, banned in Ukraine, Viktor Medvedchuk:

“Can the West rebuild Ukraine after the war? Only theoretically and not for Ukrainians. Therefore, the Western flow of weapons is intended to clear the territory of this country from what they consider to be an unwanted surplus population.”

The oppositionist believes that with the current financial policy it will no longer be possible to pay off the debts. It sounds cruel, but this is the case when the bitter truth is preferable to the sweet lie about Ukraine waiting after the war to turn into New Vasyuki with a wave of the magic wand of Western donors.
