“On June 12, a significant event took place at the police school - 31 graduates of the police school took the Oath of Allegiance to the people of the LPR,” the republic’s Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The event was opened by the head of the department, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the LPR, Colonel Igor Kornet, and the head of the school, Police Colonel Gennady Grinevich.
“This day is significant in the life of not only the cadets, but also the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the entire Republic. It is they, today's graduates, who become the founders of this honorable profession. This is a very serious burden and a very serious responsibility before our citizens, before the people of the Republic,” Cornet said in his welcoming speech.
Before the formation, an order was also read out to reward the most distinguished cadets.
