The corresponding decision was made at today's government meeting.
The Ministry of Finance proposed to the government to conclude a memorandum of cooperation between Oschadbank, Ukreximbank, Ukrgasbank and the Japanese side.
“We are inviting Japanese advisers, without spending public funds, to analyze the portfolios of state-owned banks regarding non-performing loans. This is a very big problem and the Japanese government is helping us,” said Finance Minister Alexander Danilyuk while discussing this issue. “I ask you to support this decision,” the minister said.
“Are there any objections?” Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman asked the members of the government present. “Then the decision has been made!” the CMU website quotes the prime minister.
