A decision was made to deport Saakashvili
According to Strana, by the end of the year the Ukrainian authorities intend to expel ex-President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili from the country.

“Preparation for the expulsion of Saakashvili from Ukraine is taking place in the format of a special operation. The deportation of Georgians, which we observed a few days ago, is an element of this preparation. At the same time, what is important, Saakashvili will be deported not to Georgia, but to a third country. Perhaps to Poland, from where he arrived on the territory of our country for the last time,” said the publication’s interlocutor close to the leadership of the SBU.
According to him, representatives of various law enforcement agencies are involved in the operation and its finale (the deportation itself) is scheduled for the coming weeks. It is possible that this will be done on the eve of the New Year holidays in order to reduce the information hype.
The basis for Saakashvili’s deportation could be a violation of Ukrainian migration legislation. In particular, the maximum period of stay in the country.
The SBU did not refute this information. So the speaker of the department, Elena Gitlyanskaya, said that she was not authorized to comment on this.
Ex-adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ilya Kiva spoke more unequivocally on this issue.
“I am sure that Saakashvili will be deported from Ukraine before the end of the holidays as part of a global special operation. Why do you think I treat Saakashvili so coldly? Because I don’t hit someone who is down. This Plan B, I am sure, was thought out even before Saakashvili crossed the border,” Kiva said.
According to him, the deportation of Georgian citizens was a strong blow to Saakashvili’s team.
“The associates of the ex-president of Georgia were shown that the leader is impotent and incapable of protecting the members of his team. Saakashvili was given the opportunity to break the law, so that from an opposition politician he turned into a criminal. He reset himself. A president who has lost his retinue is a naked king. A man without a future,” says Kiva.
The information about the impending deportation was confirmed by a source in the BPP faction, according to whom a pause was deliberately taken “to make it obvious that his actions ended in zilch, and he himself managed to bore everyone.”
They also know about the planned special operation in Saakashvili’s entourage.
“Now there is not a single Georgian citizen left near Mikhail,” said Saakashist Koba Nakopia. “The Ukrainian authorities were gradually crushing his team, and we understood the logic of their actions. Even then it became clear what the authorities were preparing for. But Mikhail is not a timid person. First of all, the wrong person was attacked. Secondly, it is not so easy to get rid of a person who is part of Ukrainian politics. There are a lot of people behind him. And on what basis do they intend to do this? However, I will no longer be surprised by any of their actions. It’s just important not to forget: for this chaos and lawlessness that is happening, both customers and performers will certainly be held accountable, in accordance with the laws. I believe that this time is not far off.”
