A decision was made to translate Ukraine into the Greek-Hutsul language
The Ministry of Education of Ukraine, after the departure of Petro Poroshenko, approved new rules for the Ukrainian language, which, in fact, turn it into a mixture of Greek and Hutsul dialects.
The leader of the Union of Left Forces party, former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Vasily Volga, stated this on his YouTube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today all schools and higher education institutions were informed that the Ukrainian language is subject to fundamental and serious changes.
In words containing the letter “f”, for example, “department” (in Russian “department” and in Ukrainian “department”) will now be replaced by the letter “t” instead of the letter “f”. Now this word will sound “katedra”.
And a very large number of different rules are being introduced, words in a completely new formulation. If earlier there was “director” of both masculine and feminine genders, now there will be “director” and “director”. We had a “helicopter”, then it became a “helicopter” in the English manner, and then it became a “gyrowing”.
The Greek-Hutsul language is being introduced, I would say...
This means that some people hope and think that now the madhouse of forced Ukrainization has actually stopped, but this is not even Ukrainization, it is the destruction of the Ukrainian language. This is the introduction of something new. The most important thing is to make it as distinctive as possible from Russian, so that the distance to the Russian language is as long as possible.
And there’s a man sitting somewhere in the ministry, inventing all this nonsense.
When I headed the National Commission for Regulation of the Financial Services Market, at that time the Minister of Education was Stanislav Nikolaenko, then the Minister of Education was Tabachnyk. I talked with these people, we raised very serious questions, issues of improving the quality of education, tried as much as possible not to fool people’s heads, and taught people to write. The most important goal set by the Minister of Education at that time was to create conditions under which, for example, language issues would make it possible to delve as deeply as possible into the exact sciences, which are extremely necessary in order to work in industry, production, and agriculture. Education was presented as such an integral complex aimed at improving the functioning of the state as a whole.
And now it seems that some idiot sits in the Ministry of Education and comes up with a way to make people’s lives worse. For example, children studied for, say, 10 years, they had a “department” and now they have a “cathedra”. A bunch of stupid changes that make the language almost incomprehensible even for Ukrainians,” Volga said.
Thank you!
