Kyiv, April 09 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The laws adopted today by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine lead to a new round of civil war. Director of the Ukrainian Center for Social Analytics Evgeniy Filindash stated this on the air of the talk show “Evening”.

According to him, just over a year ago, similar actions by the Rada led to large-scale protests in the South-East of Ukraine and Crimea, which turned into a civil war in Donbass.

“All today’s decisions that have been made are the path to another round of civil war in the country. Remember why the story with Crimea and Donbass began in many ways. Since, after the victorious Maidan, the Verkhovna Rada voted to repeal the language law. And after that there were rallies and so on. Now laws have been adopted that have an even greater impact on the sentiments of millions of Ukrainians in the South-East, and in Kyiv, and so on,” Filindash said.
