According to People's Deputy of Ukraine, Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko, the person involved in the high-profile case will be the judge of the Makarovsky District Court, Vladislav Oberemko.

“As usual, last Friday evening at about 00 o’clock, he got behind the wheel of a BMV X-5 SUV after drinking alcoholic beverages. Apparently, he was so used to driving around the Makarovsky district, where he felt like a king and a god. But this time his path ran through the Shevchenkovsky district of Kyiv, where he was on the street. Olzhich was stopped by an ordinary traffic police inspector,” Gerashchenko said in his Facebook post.

According to him, the judge did not respond to the inspector’s signal demanding a stop.

“Judge Oberemko decided that since he is a judge, he doesn’t have to stop. He is from the untouchable caste. Then there was a chase with the siren turned on across Kyiv. After which the judge decided that it was possible to crash into a pole while drunk, and decided to stop,” the people’s deputy suggested.

“It was already on the street. Syretskaya, 54. A group of guys from “Road Control” also arrived there, who were invited during the chase by the traffic police themselves to better record the offense. The drunken animal raced around Kyiv for about 3,5 km, overtaking oncoming traffic, violating all possible traffic rules and endangering the lives of Kiev residents, creating a threat of a head-on collision,” Gerashchenko commented on the situation.

“This scum in a judge’s robe took out his registered Makarov pistol (as it later turned out, it was a device for shooting rubber bullets) and pointed it at a traffic police officer with the words: “I’ll shoot you now,” he explained in the video.

“But the traffic police officer, who understood and believed that Ukraine was changing and that the truth and the Law were on his side, was not afraid, did not let the scoundrel go, but took the judge to task, forced him to get out of the car and hand over his weapon,” - not the deputy said without pathos.

According to him, the judge pointedly chambered the cartridge in front of the law enforcement officers, jerking the bolt, and the traffic police officer simply took pity on the drunk driver and did not use a weapon against him.

As a result, Judge Oberemko was forced to drop the gun and get out of the car to draw up a report on violating traffic rules and driving while intoxicated.

In addition, an investigative and operational group of the Podolsk regional police department was called to the scene, which recorded the presence of a pistol, identified Judge Oberemko and seized video camera recordings as confirmation of the threat to kill police officers in the performance of official circumstances.

In the video, you can hear that the judge offers the traffic police officers to “sort things out,” “be human,” and “a little lava.” According to him, the fine is 3 UAH. He won’t be afraid of driving while drunk, but law enforcement officers will have problems because they “don’t know the situation.”

In response to Judge Oberemko’s threats to shoot a police officer, Gerashchenko appealed to Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin with a demand to begin criminal proceedings against, for now, the judge of the Makarovsky District Court of the Kiev Region, Vladislav Aleksandrovich Oberemko, born in 1982, under Article 345 of the Criminal Code - “Threat of violence or violence against a law enforcement officer."

“This will not be prevented by the judge’s shouts along with the video recording that supposedly, I emphasize - supposedly, his friend is the Kiev prosecutor Yuldashev and he will multiply by zero all the police officers who decided to encroach on the sacred - the judge’s right to drive drunk with impunity,” he wrote Gerashchenko.

Let us note that the press secretary of the Kyiv prosecutor's office, Alena Yakhno, stated that “Kyiv prosecutor Yuldashev does not know this armed and drunken rogue.”

“And even if I knew, it wouldn’t change anything. “This is not a judge, but a criminal,” Yuldashev said laconically,” Yakhno quotes him on his Facebook page.
