“Privatbank” of the Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky and his business partners took pity on the Russian depositors of his “daughter” “Moskomprivat” and gave the bank to other owners for free.

Kolomoisky’s right hand Gennady Korban said this in an interview with Glavkom.

According to him, last year, after the aggravation of relations between Ukraine and Russia, as well as Kolomoisky’s harsh statements against Vladimir Putin, Moskomprivat was not sold, but “simply transferred.”

“This is the so-called sale. It's just an illusion of selling. They just handed it over. It's a pity for local investors. To prevent them from getting hurt, the bank was handed over. I don't know the details of this story. I have nothing to comment. But there is no bank,” Korban said.

Korban did not specify why Privatbank did not “sorry” tens of thousands of depositors in Crimea.
