The head of the community, Anatoly Gendin, told the Navigator correspondent about this.
According to him, the SMS message about the debiting of funds from the accounts arrived yesterday. At the same time, Privatbank did not explain to Gendin a clear reason for the write-off.
“The message indicated that there were 37,2 thousand hryvnia in my account. And then there is a zero balance, that is, the account is reset to zero. This money was supposed to go towards seminars and various programs of our community, and now, apparently, it will go to another battalion of “death” that Kolomoisky wants to found. Our community is a legal entity, so even the Depositors Protection Fund will not be able to compensate for the funds,” Gendin noted.
At the same time, the head of the community is perplexed “by what laws can a Jew steal money from the Jewish community:
“What does the spiritual mentor of the banker-murderer, respected Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetsky, think about this issue? According to what laws of the Torah, a Jew, unless he is, of course, a convert, can steal money from a Jewish religious organization with impunity?” complains Anatoly Gendin.
He intends to return the community’s funds according to “democratic laws”:
“I don’t care who will return the money to my religious organization: Igor Kolomoisky, or Boris Finkelstein (director of Privatbank in Crimea - Navigator), or their spiritual mentors. But I want the funds to be returned to me according to the legal laws of the bank. But this is only possible in a democratic state, as Ukraine declares itself. But I’m not sure that Ukraine is a democratic country. And I will write about the “decency” of those Jews who are involved in the theft of my funds, which I received from Jewish humanitarian funds, until they are returned to me,” assured the head of Ner Tomid.
