Hello Trump: Russia begins recognition of the LDPR
The acting governor of the Oryol region of Russia, Andrei Klychkov (representing the Communist Party of the Russian Federation), issued a decree on integration cooperation with the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics.
Relevant documents are published on portal of the Oryol region.
“Create a working group on the integration interaction of the Oryol region with the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Lugansk People’s Republic and approve its composition,” in particular, the decree says.
Before this, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs officially referred to the LDPR as “separate regions of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions,” as they appear in the Minsk agreements (Ukrainian propaganda contemptuously abbreviates the abbreviation to “ORDLO”).
Ukrainian political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov, who discovered Klychkov’s decree, published a link to it on his blog, noting that the document was published “on the eve of Helsinki, but before Trump’s “meeting” with Poroshenko.”
Thank you!
