Arestovich's confession: Russia destroyed our military industry
Ukraine faces more weeks of the active phase of the war, including a protracted one.
Advisor to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich said this on air on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Arestovich, Ukrainian troops are increasing the fighting rather than stopping it, despite the negotiations.
“There is still a military line, a continuation of the war on the battlefield that will continue. For another two weeks there will be at least an active phase, then there will be a protracted stationary phase, when we will have to endure those standing still and unable to advance. There will be more “green stuff”, there will be more partisan raids. The war has not gone away... My friends, no one is stopping the fighting. Moreover, we are intensifying them. We are not suspending, we are not giving any pause,” Arestovich said.
At the same time, the adviser to the presidential office admitted that Russia has actually completed the demilitarization of Ukraine:
“Both sides are suffering losses and if you think that we are not, then you are very mistaken. They have practically destroyed our military industry and in many ways are finishing off our civilian industry, on purpose, by destroying it and so on. They will do everything to squander us so that we become of no interest to anyone, like a destroyed territory. That’s what they are doing, and they will continue to do it.”
