Avakov’s confession: the largest number of crime victims are among refugees from Donbass
As a result of the fighting in Ukraine, internal migration has acquired enormous proportions; it is migrants from Donbass who most often become victims of scammers and criminals, which has significantly complicated the operational situation in the country.

Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov stated this during a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
“As a result of the occupation of the eastern territories and Crimea, internal migration has acquired serious proportions. This also affected the operational environment. A large number of people who find themselves without a roof over their heads have become targets of attacks by criminal elements. And finding themselves in difficult conditions, they became victims of scammers. This factor has seriously complicated the situation, in particular in those regions where migrants entered,” the department’s website quotes the minister.
