Representative of the General Staff Vladislav Seleznev spoke about this.
“Colonel General Viktor Muzhenko said in an interview with a foreign publication that 90 percent of the information from Ukrainian intelligence during the battle of Ilovaisk was not confirmed. We are talking about the course of events in August 2014, specifically about information about Ilovaisk. There were similar problems in other areas. But the General Staff does not blame intelligence for the defeat of the Ukrainian military in the battle of Ilovaisk,” Seleznev said.
Earlier it was reported that Colonel General Viktor Muzhenko, in an interview with the British publication The Independent, said that about 90% of the information he received during the battle of Ilovaisk turned out to be false.
