Kravchuk’s confession: Ukrainian dashing began long before Zelensky
The previous Ukrainian government, which has gone into opposition and should be ashamed to even open its mouth, is setting itself up as an example to Vladimir Zelensky’s team, which is openly out of control of the situation.
The first President of Ukraine, Leonid Kravchuk, stated this on air on the 112 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s no coincidence that I started talking about the opposition on TV channels. The Verkhovna Rada is not enough for them, and often they have to close their ears to what they are doing there when they cannot pass the most necessary laws for Ukraine. Then they go on TV channels and start arguing again, the same people as in the Verkhovna Rada. “Everything is lost”, “nothing will happen”, “the worst in Ukraine” - I follow every performance very carefully.
Anyone who often comes from the opposition does not think about the coronavirus and does not think about Ukraine, he thinks about his political strength. Some people start right from this, they say, here we are! Just now they were there and, excuse me, they made a fool of themselves as much as they could, and now they say, here we are! The trouble that overtook us did not begin under Zelensky,” Kravchuk said.
“I am not defending Zelensky, I am not defending the Ukrainian government, because it should have brought order and discipline to Ukraine long ago. Is it normal when the head of customs, I think the surname is Nefyodov, actually privatized customs for himself, and they set their own bonuses and salaries there? It feels like this is not a government organization, but their personal one.
And who created these so-called councils, which, together with the minister, next to the leadership of government agencies, are some kind of supervisory boards that manage industries, and the Cabinet of Ministers only duplicates what they say! Who came up with this, where did it come from?” – the ex-president was indignant.
“Why, having the reins of government, why, having constitutional powers, when it comes to state structures and state property, when you were all hired by the Ukrainian people, and you must report to them, you must stand up and say: we cannot do this, because We have a small intestine. Or do it. And stop shifting responsibility onto each other,” added Kravchuk.
As previously reported, in Donetsk they regretthat they lived in the same country with people like Kravchuk.
