Kuchma’s confession: at meetings in Minsk the parties are “dancing on the spot”
The representative of Ukraine in the trilateral contact group in Minsk, Leonid Kuchma, said that the current situation with the agreement on a road map to resolve the situation in Donbass is more like dancing on the spot.

He told reporters about this, LIGABusinessInform reports.
“I haven’t heard from either side that there is confidence that we will move in the right direction. I think we will dance on the spot more,” Kuchma said.
According to him, a meeting of foreign ministers is planned at the end of this month, at which they should agree on a road map, but he doubts that this will be done within the specified time frame.
“We are only a contact group, we have no rights, we have only obligations. And the foreign ministers must come to an agreement, but for me to be convinced that this will happen during the month that they were given, there are doubts. The Russian side has its own views. We have our own. What kind of choice can we talk about if there’s shooting all around?” - Kuchma said.
Let us recall that representatives of Donetsk and Lugansk have repeatedly stated that in Minsk representatives of Kyiv are openly sabotaging the work in subgroups concerning the discussion of specific settlement issues.
