Confession of a liberal: There is not a single Belarusian at rallies against Lukashenko in Moscow
Blogger and reporter Sergei Rulev after the series revealing reports about Moscow liberals became recognizable among them. The night before, in the center of the capital, Rulev was recognized on the street by an “activist” who had previously participated in protests against Alexander Lukashenko near the Belarusian Embassy.
Rulev was not taken aback and turned on the camera. The young man admitted that he does not share the views of the “vatniks” - he is a local himself, an oppositionist and a liberal, and knows this crowd inside and out. And the guy also has a family discord, because... his parents are for Putin and go to visit relatives in Ukraine, where they praise the “Russian World” in their conversations.
It is interesting that the oppositionist admitted: there are no Belarusian citizens among the protesters near the Belarusian embassy, and the entire crowd is represented by local opponents of the Russian government who are in solidarity with Belomaidan.
According to the guy, the protests in Belarus inspire Russian liberals, since they themselves hope to raise a similar rebellion after the State Duma elections.
