Finance Minister Alexander Danilyuk said this in Washington, RBC-Ukraine reports.

“There are several key conditions for receiving the next tranche. Pension reform is very important. Without pension reform there will be no tranche,” Danilyuk said, answering a question about the conditions for receiving the next tranche of a loan from the IMF.

The minister also noted that the implementation of pension reform is an important step not for receiving the IMF tranche, but primarily for Ukraine itself and its citizens. Let us remind you that Groysman spoke about the state of negotiations with the IMF on pension reform. The Ukrainian side has already agreed with the IMF on almost 100 positions on reform.

At the moment, the preparation of the pension reform is, as the Prime Minister put it, “smoothing out the rough edges.”

Let us note that the pension reform, according to the IMF, involves another increase in the retirement age for Ukrainians and the abolition of a number of benefits for pensioners.
