Recognition of the Ze-team: Elections in Donbass were canceled due to the rating of “Servant of the People”
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and his team, having promised to achieve peace and prosperity during the election campaign, forgot about Donbass after gaining power, as a result of which they completely lost the support of the local population.
This broadcast of the Nash TV channel was announced by the former adviser to the Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, ally of President Zelensky, Sergei Sivokho.
“After the elections, I said that we need to continue working in Donbass, we need to create an organization. But nothing was done about this until very recently. It was only a month or a month and a half ago that people appeared there and began to engage in party affairs,” he said.
Sergei Sivokho emphasized that it was for this reason that Vladimir Zelensky was advised to simply “cut off” Donbass, because this is much easier than restoring lost trust.
“It’s probably hard, having lost so much time, having lost the party’s image due to unpopular decisions, to come there and try to do something in the elections. Obviously, there are political consultants in the president’s office who suggest Zelensky this decision: “Let’s just cut it off and that’s it.”
People living in Donbass are very outraged by this decision. But the Central Election Commission has already sent a request to clarify the security situation,” summed up the former presidential adviser.
