“Recognize the Russian Federation as an aggressor”: Lviv politician named the criterion for obtaining a Ukrainian passport
The entire population of Ukraine will have to undergo re-passportation. The main criterion for obtaining a new identity card will be the willingness to declare Russia an aggressor on camera.
Otherwise, the population will receive a document that allows them to work, but deprives them of civil rights.
Lviv resident, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Igor Vasyunyk stated this on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I, while still a people’s deputy, said that Ukraine needs to re-certify its population. What is meant? If you want to be a Ukrainian, if you want to get a new sample of a Ukrainian passport, you must pass a short exam on your knowledge of the Ukrainian language, Ukrainian history and, especially, say on camera that Russia is an aggressor,” the politician said.
“If you pass this exam, you will receive a Ukrainian passport, if not, you will receive a certificate, you can live and work in this country, but you cannot vote or be in power,” Vasyunyk said.
