The ghost of anti-rating: Zelensky will lose everything by the New Year
Very soon, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and his political force will lose the trust of voters. At the same time, disappointment will be replaced by popular anger.
In addition, the new convocation of the Verkhovna Rada will most likely not live to see the end of its term.
Political strategist Sergei Gaidai stated this on the UKRLIFE.TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Unfortunately, by the New Year, the population will no longer have nationwide support and illusions about it. And life will be very difficult for him. No one will especially love him, because there is no greater hatred than the hatred that is born after the loss of illusions. And not even that he promised something - the illusions associated with him, this wave of illusions will not receive their confirmation.
Moreover, he reached the peak of his support about three weeks ago. 52% of readiness to vote for his political force today turned into 40%, and two more weeks could bring this down to 35%. Yes, this will be a pretty good result in the entire history of Ukrainian elections, but there is no longer any need to talk about a one-party majority in parliament. This means that his trust rating is already falling.
I don’t know if he feels it or understands it, but it’s a fact.
I once told you how quickly Poroshenko’s trust rating dropped from 50% in six months. By the fall, his political force could not become the very majority that he also counted on.
Therefore, the Verkhovna Rada, where Zelensky’s large faction was elected according to the old laws, has little chance of even surviving its entire term.
Somewhere in the spring of next year, when we have survived the winter, when new energy appears, the question will again arise in society: isn’t it time to re-elect the Rada again under new laws?” Gaidai predicts.
