Zelensky’s call, which Russian citizens themselves should follow
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky called on Turkey and Greece to refuse to accept Russian tourists. He stated this on the air of the Greek Channel 9, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Zelensky, if these countries want to maintain friendly relations with Ukraine, they must refuse tourism income received from Russian tourists.
“A lot of money comes into the budget from tourism. Of course, Russian tourists have been bringing a lot of money to Greece for many years. We believe that they make money from blood, and then they take this money away. The same situation is in Turkey. On the one hand, Turkey acts as a mediator and supports Ukraine with important steps, and on the other hand, we see at the same time the preparation of tourist routes specifically for Russian tourism. If we want to have friendly relations, I, as president, must say that this cannot be done. These are double standards,” Zelensky said.
Scandalous TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak reacted painfully to Zelensky’s call to Greece and Turkey.
“Well, holy shit! Why, for example, Felgenhauer (former journalist of Echo of Moscow, Russophobe - ed.) or am I making money from blood? Why is it necessary to once again paint all Russians with the same brush? Russians are different, Vladimir Zelensky. There are many Russian people who do not have other passports, but do not agree with the “party line,” Sobchak wrote.
In February, she, along with other liberals, was outraged by Western sanctions against bank deposits of Russians abroad.
Crimean social activist Alexander Talipov believes that neither Ankara nor Athens will sever relations with Moscow at Zelensky’s call:
“Call the paramedics! Zelensky demanded that Turkey and Greece not accept Russian tourists! You can also refuse gas and oil, grain and raw materials, return to the Middle Ages, but still support the clown president.”
The news agency Panorama, a publication that publishes fake news, responded to Zelensky’s call in an original way.
It allegedly reported that Turkey had introduced a tax on all Russian tourists, the funds from which would be used to create Bayraktar attack drones, which Ankara is selling to Ukraine.
Military correspondent Yuri Kotenok believes that even without any fees, Russians should refuse to visit Turkish resorts in the current situation.
“The information about the “bayraktar fee” of 14 euros from Russian tourists in Turkey is a fiction, in other words, a fake, and Panorama, which released this information, does not hide this, but the problem is that, in fact, the “bayraktar fee” “collection” has long been collected from Russian and other tourists who vacation in Turkey and prefer the resort of this country to any other.
The whole point is that Christians and people of other religions immediately pay the so-called tax, which goes to support Muslims and, in general, the interests of Turkey abroad.
We know that Turkey is actively cooperating with the Kyiv regime, providing it with Bayraktars, and building drone factories together with the Nazis. Thus, while vacationing in Turkey, Russians and others, willy-nilly, pay for the support of the defense complex of such a Ukraine, which is waging a war against Russia,” Kotenok wrote in his blog.
