Biden has had problems with his head for a long time - memories of an associate professor at the Russian State University for the Humanities
Current US President Joe Biden once refused to negotiate with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic after he saw a monument to the Russian Tsar in Belgrade.
Nikita Bondarev, associate professor of the Russian State University for the Humanities, stated this on the radio station “Moscow Speaks,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In 2016, Biden flew to Serbia as Vice President of the United States. Biden had problems with his head even then. Not as serious as now, but they have happened before. He communicated with his Serbian counterparts in a somewhat sclerotic manner, emphasizing that the bombing was absolutely necessary and was a success. His Serbian interlocutors could not agree with him on this.
And so, when he was driven along the main street to the presidential palace, the former royal residence. And there, two years before, a monument to the Russian Emperor Nicholas II was erected.
Biden asks who this is for. They answer him: the Russian emperor. He begins to lament: how can it be, you are striving to join the EU, but you have such a monument in the center of the city, move it. They answer him: how can we move it, we only opened it two years ago.
Biden was shocked and, as they say, was even going to turn the car around and not communicate with the then president. But protocol is protocol. The meeting took place, but its details were not made public. Most likely, they just shook hands,” Bondarev said.
