This opinion was expressed at a press conference in Kyiv by Ukrainian economic expert Vsevolod Stepanyuk, commenting on survey data that people have more faith in the government’s ability to change something in the country than rely on civil society or other structures.
“People are absolutely right: only the government can change something,” the expert emphasized. “But only the real government, and not, excuse me, puppets of the West who carry out certain orders.”
