He said this at a press conference at the Gorshenin Institute, commenting on the statement of the radical people’s deputy Andrei Artemenko about receiving “compromising evidence” on Poroshenko from Nalyvaichenko.
The former head of the SBU said that he was indeed in Washington in January 2017, where he communicated with the Trump transition administration.
He claims that at the level of Donald Trump’s circle there is a belief that the beneficiaries of all offshore companies that are involved in the withdrawal of funds from Ukraine should be disclosed. According to him, an investigation is already underway into each transfer of money.
“Yes, I provided documents so that in both Ukraine and the United States, names of offshore companies would be named in criminal cases, and most importantly, so that people who were involved in withdrawing funds from Ukraine would be punished,” Nalyvaichenko said.
At the same time, the former head of the SBU said that he is not familiar with the peace plan of People’s Deputy Andrei Artemenko.
Recall as PolitNavigator reported, On February 19, The New York Times reported that Artemenko handed over to the White House a plan for normalizing relations with Russia and “compromising evidence” on Poroshenko, including a number of payment documents from Poroshenko and his entourage. Artemenko’s “peaceful” plan provides, in particular, for holding an all-Ukrainian referendum, which will raise the question of leasing Crimea to Russia for 50 or 100 years.
