The project for the integration of Russia and Belarus will be ready by December 8
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko proposed to prepare a program of action strategy for the integration of the two countries by December 8, 2019.
He stated this today at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“December marks the 20th anniversary of our Union Treaty, it is clear that, I believe, we should not carry a single problem beyond this period. This is pushing us. What will we say on our twentieth anniversary? There will be nothing to say if we do not resolve all the issues that exist and sign a program that will determine the strategy for our further actions,” Lukashenko said.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, yesterday the two presidents communicated informally on Valaam.
