Yatsenyuk’s “Wall” project lost miserably to the “Hole” project
Kyiv, November 21 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The Ukrainian budget may not be able to support the project of barrier structures on the border with Russia called “The Wall”. Advisor to the President of Ukraine and Minister of Defense Yuriy Biryukov stated this on Channel 5.

According to him, construction on the border with Russia requires huge financial costs, and Ukraine has already spent UAH 7 million on the project. With poor funding, Biryukov is sure, Ukraine will end up with obsolete designs that will be ineffective.
“It’s realistic to build anything, but first of all, we don’t have the full money for it. Secondly, part of the territories on the border is actually occupied, so how to build a rampart on this territory? We need money, this is a colossal investment in the construction of all these barriers,” admitted Biryukov.
