A “professor” from Vyatrovich’s entourage declared Jewish pogroms “a traditional occupation of Ukrainians”
Having called Jewish pogroms a “traditional” occupation of Ukrainians, Professor Patryliak, dean of the Faculty of History at Kyiv University, today, together with the Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center, is moderating a public discussion of the “historical narrative of the Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center.”

About it posted on his social media page Director of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee Eduard Dolinsky, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“To better understand the scale of the personality of the moderator of the discussion about the future Holocaust museum, you need to know that in his book “The military activities of the OUN (b) in 1940-42”, explaining why Ukrainian nationalists did not like Jews, Patrylyak refers to the book of the racist and anti-Semite David Duke “The Jewish Question through American Eyes: My Study of Zionism.” Talking about the supposedly 12 thousand Germans killed in battles with the UPA, Professor Patrylyak relies on the research of rural doctor Oleksandr Denishchuk, who collects stories about the UPA in his free time,” he writes.
Also, according to Dolinsky, on the anniversary of the 1941 Lviv Jewish pogrom organized by nationalists, Patrylyak, together with Vyatrovich, “organized a conference in honor of the OUN and laid flowers at the memorial plaque of the ardent anti-Semite Myron Orlyk. At the same time, Professor Patrylyak stated that Jewish pogroms in Ukraine “were traditional.”
