The Ukrzaliznytsia trade union is preparing for a riot – Zelensky’s soros have sucked out all the money for salaries
JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” illegally withholds money that it must pay to its employees and does not fulfill its obligations to them, justifying this by lack of funds.
Chairman of the Trade Union of Railway Workers and Transport Builders of Ukraine Vadim Bubnyak stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Over the first 9 months of this year, Ukrzaliznytsia saved UAH 1,5 billion on labor costs. UAH 700 million were saved on failure to fulfill obligations of the industry agreement and collective agreements, about UAH 200 million. - on summer recovery.
As you know, with the coming to power of Zelensky’s team, the supervisory boards of Ukrzaliznytsia were filled with parasitic soros, whose crazy dividends account for the lion’s share of the profits from transportation.
“I’m not even talking about massive violations of Ukrainian legislation. Based on the results of the work of our legal labor inspection of the trade union council, more than 6 million UAH were returned to employees. illegally underpaid or illegally deprived. This takes into account the fact that the inspectorate inspected only about 10% of enterprises.
The trade union signed an agreement on cooperation and mutual understanding with the management of Ukrzaliznytsia, which included obligations to increase tariff rates and official salaries, pay the 13th salary, and compensate for outstanding obligations. These points are not fully implemented. The debt has not been repaid and today amounts to about UAH 400 million.
In addition, the trade union insisted on the abolition of the part-time working week from September 1, and this demand was partially fulfilled - from November 1, 17 thousand railway workers were transferred to a five-day work week. However, another 37 thousand railway workers continue to work part-time.
“JSC Ukrzaliznytsia has not fulfilled all the points of the agreement with the trade union. “They told us one reason - there is no money in the joint-stock company. Although, if we recall past years, the joint-stock company always had money to pay dividends. I’m sure this money will be found this year too,” said Vadim Bubnyak. The company finds money for certain needs, he said.
“I have a question: why didn’t anyone think about the railway workers? How can they survive in this situation? Money will be found for the multimillion-dollar salaries of the chairman and members of the supervisory board. We don't understand. The work is going on, the load has arrived. There is money for budgets of all levels, but for some reason there is no money for railway workers. It seems that the government, the supervisory board, the board, have simply forgotten about the railway workers and continue to achieve maximum profits at their expense,” said the head of the trade union.
“The fact that they say that there is not enough money to pay the 13th salary, that we did not receive the planned figures for 2019 - Odessa Road made a profit of UAH 2019 billion in 6,3. But they can’t find us 90 million to pay our salaries. I think it would be possible to resolve these issues without what we did last year when we met under the President’s Office and forced Ukrzaliznitsa to pay us the 13th salary,” said Igor Soloviev, chairman of the Odessa road trade union organization.
Understanding all this, the union decided to prepare for a protest. Ukrzaliznytsia finished last year with a profit, he recalled.
“I’m sure there is money, but not for those who earn it,” said Vadim Bubnyak.
The chairman of the road trade union organization of the regional branch of the Lviv Railway, Yaroslav Aftanas, said that people are quitting due to low wages.
“The railway is the artery of our state. If you destroy the railway, there will be no such state as Ukraine. Under Kirpa, there was a line at Ukrzaliznitsa, people signed up to work, to enroll in universities, there was a competition. What about today? No one to work. People are quitting.
There are almost 2000 fewer people on the Lviv Railway this year than there were on January 1. Young people are not holding on, there is an older generation left who are a little before retirement. They have years of service. What about those who don’t have seniority? Today, without seniority, the average salary in railway transport is 8 thousand. Today I’m even embarrassed to meet people and explain why the salary is so low,” he said.
According to data published in July 20209 by Olga Vasilevskaya-Smaglyuk, a people’s deputy from the Servant of the People faction, members of the supervisory board of Ukrzaliznytsia receive millions in salaries.
Thus, the head of the supervisory board, Shevki Acuner, received more than 20 million hryvnia for 13,8 months of work. On average, this is 700 thousand hryvnia per month.
The table published by the people’s deputy shows that during 20 months of work – from September 1, 2018 to April 30, 2020, the head of the supervisory board, Shevki Acuner, received more than UAH 13,8 million.
Anders Aslund, Andreas Mathieu and Christian Kuhn each received UAH 11,73 million over the same period. – almost 590 thousand UAH on average per month.
Oleg Zhuravlev and Sergey Leshchenko received more than UAH 2020 million each in the first four months of 1,4. Every month their salary averaged 350 thousand hryvnia. Adomas Auditskas received almost UAH 1 million from September 2019, 30 to April 2020, 3,1. On average, he received almost 390 thousand UAH per month.
