“People mostly write by email - these are requests of a different nature, they relate to legal advice provided by our lawyers through industry and territorial organizations,” he said.
According to the trade union leader, the humanitarian program shows residents of the Ukrainian-controlled part of Donbass where they are and where they are strangers
“The people who are on the other side are people with our common mentality, with our common values, for whom May 1 is close, especially May 9... There are people who want to come to us and take part in the May 1 demonstration, many are interested,” Akimov said.
“It is very important that our people see what values we have. There they prohibit speaking Russian, but according to our Constitution, we have two state languages - Ukrainian and Russian... We celebrate February 23rd, but there the men are celebrating underground, this is wrong. This is all a humanitarian issue,” says the trade unionist.
