When some Ukrainian experts, who received Russian citizenship after the Maidan, begin to teach Russians how they should be patriots, this irritates Russian citizens.

Maxim Yusin, an international journalist at the Kommersant publishing house, stated this on the PolitWera channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“There is such a moment - when they start teaching me, a Russian person, a citizen of Russia, who, unlike them, has no other homeland, they start teaching me patriotism, having wasted their country.

I had such a case when a person who positions himself as a Ukrainian, at the same time lives in Germany, and, constantly speaking on our television channels, he dresses up as a Russian patriot. But somehow I myself will figure out my country, from which I have never left anywhere and will never leave, I will somehow figure out myself how I should love this country, how I should treat my parliament and the referendum on the Constitution...

But let it not be this Ukrainian who came from Germany who teaches me loyalty to United Russia, Putin and something else. Because today they are loyal to Putin, yesterday they were loyal to Yanukovych, and in the end they screwed up their country thanks to their stupid loyalty instead of stopping Yanukovych in time, when he had completely lost his mind and, together with his clan, with his “Family”, was already against himself set up both business and the middle class, set everyone up.

They applauded, they screwed up their country and now they are trying to introduce this stupid loyalty into our minds. No, we will have critical loyalty, and we will criticize the authorities if it turns out that they are making mistakes.

This is the difference. Our patriotism is active, but theirs is just to applaud those who are now in power. It seems to me that they are doing a disservice to those who call them on television too often and in too many numbers.

Many are “downed pilots,” and they declare, remind of themselves, declare their relevance precisely because in words they are more patriots of Russia than we are.

No, we are more patriots of Russia, not them,” the journalist said.

The broadcaster agreed with him.

“It’s just jarring when, like when they start talking on the same Vladimir Solovyov’s show (Ukrainians who received citizenship here), they start saying – we “need to tighten our belts” - we, Russians, and go save Ukraine,” she added.
