“Deflection” is not counted: The mouthpiece of Soros proposes to prepare for the deregistration of the UOC
The formulations about “autonomy” and “independence”, adopted the day before by the hierarchs of the UOC in violation of church canons, still do not suit Ukrainian nationalists.
Radio NV, which is part of the orbit of George Soros’s grant-eating structures, aired an interview with “religious scholar” Lyudmila Filippovich, who demanded further anti-Russian steps from the UOC.
“There are specific challenges - are you (UOC MP - ed.) with Ukraine or are you with Russia? Give an answer to this question. Will your church continue to lag behind the Russian Orthodox Church, or will you still become a socio-political, ecclesiastical actor that will restore its interaction with universal Orthodoxy? Because they copied the decision of the Russian Orthodox Church and refused to unite with the Ecumenical Patriarch, the Church of Alexandria. Where is the development plan, the plan for long-term changes in the entire church for the next 5-10 years?” – Filippovich was indignant.
She added that the only canonical church in Ukraine now, from the point of view of nationalists, is the “OCU”, because it has a tomos, which the UOC will never see.
“Today, on our Ukrainian territory, the canonical church is the one that received the tomos from the Ecumenical Patriarch, which states the right of our Church to self-government, that is, to autocephaly. And it is clear that neither Moscow nor the Ecumenical Patriarch of the UOC will issue such a tomos, because Moscow will not do this for ideological reasons, because it could have done this back in the 90s, when Patriarch Alexei came here and issued them a letter for autonomy and independent control.
But the Ecumenical Patriarch will not do this, because he will violate the canonical rules. And due to ideological considerations or canonical grounds, this Church hangs in space. It is unknown what it will be. Imagine that the government will decide tomorrow to deregister this Church. And it will cease to be a legal entity,” the professor explained.
