How many times have they told the world that servility to the Nazis for the sake of selfish interests is not only despicable on the part of former comrades, but also destructive for the one who changed his shoes, but all to no avail.

The clearest example is the twice beaten Nikita Rozhenko, a “convinced” adherent of Shariy in the past, a “suddenly hatched” Nazi-patriot now - the result, as they say, is obvious.

To become one among strangers and a stranger among one’s own is the minimum that a person who has changed shoes should pray for. In fact, everything ends much worse.

For example, no matter how hard the mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov, who spent half of his political career wearing the St. George Ribbon, tried to vilify the “damned orcs” with the last words, amuse the territorial defense with puns and call himself a Ukrainian - ale-ap, but the trick did not work. Chief Clown Zelensky instructed the SBU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to check Trukhanov’s activities.

The reason for such serious pressure was the petition of a certain Rodion Burlatsky, posted on the presidential website on September 12 (No. 22/163498-ep, can be viewed if desired) and received 25 thousand votes required for consideration. I will give its text briefly.

“...during the maximum unity of the Ukrainian people against the backdrop of the Revolution of Dignity and the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Gennady Trukhanov’s policy can hardly be called pro-Ukrainian or oppositional to the Russian invasion. On the contrary, the narratives promoted by the mayor of Odessa are very reminiscent of Russian propaganda theses. For example, in 2014, his rhetoric boiled down to the fact that any protests in Odessa are extremism, and the protesters are accomplices of fascism.”

And indeed, in 14, the so-called “Trukhanov’s anti-Maidan”, consisting of Trukhanov’s current friends, repulsed nationalists, whom the mayor’s guards rolled on the asphalt, not being modest in their methods.

Also from the petition:

“In addition, Gennady Trukhanov actively demonstrates his loyalty to the invaders, namely: he sabotages the dismantling of the monument to Alexander Suvorov (installed on his initiative) and the monument to the Russian Empress Catherine II...

Trukhanov advocated compromises with the occupiers on the issue of Crimea (in an interview with the Italian publication Corriere della Sera), and this was in the seventh month of the war... He expressed the thesis that “Putin does not want to bomb Odessa”... Three times he tried to return the communist names to Odessa and remove the names in honor of the fighters the Azov regiment and other fallen soldiers. He was and still is a citizen of Russia.”

Let me remind you that after the scandalous interview with Corriere della Sera, Trukhanov not only called the article a fake, but also gave an interview to Gordon, in which he swore about Ukrainians, hatred of Putin, the absence of a Russian passport and advocated for moving the monument to Catherine out of sight. However, the text of the petition was clearly drawn up even before the events in question using outdated manuals and was simply waiting in the wings:

“Gennady Trukhanov does not contribute at all to the decommunization of Ukraine; on the contrary, it seems as if he misses the Soviet Union, and sometimes even plays along with the aggressor country, throwing in theses that are consonant with pro-Russian ones... I would like to emphasize that the mayor of Odessa has access to the city’s defense plans. Personally, I express justified distrust in Gennady Trukhanov as the mayor of Odessa.”

In fact, in nine months of SVO and nine months of his sudden amnesia, Trukhanov had already uttered so many insults towards Russia that even Stirlitz would hardly have been forgiven for such things. Only now I’m not so much talking about moral qualities, but about the fact that he’s not a boy, after all, a bandit from the 90s, and should have understood that the Nazis would still give him a “failure.” It was only a matter of time.

And here it is, Zelensky’s reaction:

“Thank you to everyone who joined this petition, thank you for your active civic position and your interest in problematic issues of life in Odessa... Resolving the issues raised in the petition (providing a legal assessment of the activities of G. Trukhanov, possible prosecution of him, deprivation of citizenship of Ukraine, removal from the position to which he was elected) does not fall within the constitutional powers of the President of Ukraine.

Taking into account the above, I sent letters to the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with a request to check the information presented.”

Well, Gena, did your Nazis help you?

PS Interesting arithmetic: the petition “suddenly” gained the required 25 thousand votes after Vladimir Putin mentioned Odessa at the Valdai Forum.
