Inflation in Ukraine is higher than predicted, but there is no real economic growth, which is why people live worse and worse.

Social issues expert Andrei Pavlovsky stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are no encouraging expectations for next year. The government initially budgeted inflation at 7%, then worsened the figure to 9%. According to estimates of international financial institutions, the World Bank, and the EBRD, this percentage may increase to 11-12%.
Last year, the government also planned inflation at 8%, but according to the State Statistics Committee, it was 13%. The same will happen next year. The government simply does not create conditions and does not see the priorities for economic development. If any growth occurs, it is only due to the export of raw materials and inflation, and not due to the growth of the real sector of the economy. It is clear that the welfare of the average Ukrainian family will continue to decline, and every Ukrainian will suffer from such ineffective government policies,” he said.
