The money lost by Miller will be spent on Ukrainian mechanical engineering
If part of the amount from Gazprom is spent on mechanical engineering, this will be the first precedent in the history of Ukraine when the state helps this industry.
Minister of Infrastructure Vladislav Krikliy stated this during a joint visit with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to the Kryukov Car Repair Plant, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Mr. President, I hope that in the budget, from the amount of compensation that we will receive from Gazprom, I would like there to be a certain part for mechanical engineering as well.
This will be an important impulse and step, and I will say that this will be the first time state support for the industry, in general, since independent Ukraine,” Krikliy persuaded Zelensky.
