This opinion was expressed by psychologist Rostislav Grivul in a comment to the ZIK TV channel.
“A nation that loses passionarity becomes impoverished. She dies. And a nation that finds passionarity can develop. And, thank God, Ukrainians have revived that passionarity. This also requires an understanding of history,” the psychologist noted.
At the same time, Rostislav Grivul compared the history of a nation with the childhood of an individual.
“If there is not sufficient support for self-esteem in childhood, then a masochistic position and a losing position are formed. When people don't speak correctly about their past, they are doomed to fail. Confronting external enemies requires consolidation and your own resources. Therefore, the search for your own heroes, the search for your own significant achievements gives strength and inspiration in the present,” said Grivul.
