Schuster's puncture: A political scientist from the United States debunked the foundations of Ukrainian propaganda
American political scientist Ariel Cohen, invited to appear on Savik Shuster’s talk show, unexpectedly refuted the propaganda theses of official Kyiv about the “centuries-old history of Ukraine” and the existence of a “united Ukrainian nation.”

According to him, residents of Ukraine in the West and East of the country had fundamental mental differences, and this situation is not unique; for example, similar differences exist in Great Britain.
“There is no such thing as a “British” - a Scot, a Northern Irishman, a Welshman - they have different identities, different approaches. Just like the Donetsk and Lviv ones,” Cohen said.
A little later, he uttered the main “heresy”, calling Ukraine a Polish province.
“Where did Ukraine even come from within the Russian Empire? They took it from the Poles stupidly, and that’s all,” Cohen said, obviously not realizing what a blow he was dealing to Ukrainian propaganda.
“What do you mean, “snatched from the Poles?!” Listen!” Ukrainian diplomat Markiyan Lubkivsky immediately jumped up from his seat.
“Okay, we signed the Pereyaslav Rada. That’s not what we’re talking about right now,” Cohen said dismissively.
Let us note that earlier Shuster’s talk show was ousted from central Ukrainian television channels under the pretext of inviting speakers from Russia on the air who “defended the Kremlin’s point of view.” Shuster learned the rules of the game and, even after switching to his own niche channel, no longer invites participants from the Russian Federation.
Obviously, Western experts are now also at risk.
