The prosecutor's office demands that Menyailo stop repairs in Sevastopol schools
Sevastopol, September 18 (PolitNavigator, Evgeny Andreev) – The Sevastopol Prosecutor’s Office conducted an inspection of the implementation of education legislation in the preparation of educational institutions for the new academic year.

According to her, during the inspection, violations of the law “On Education in the Russian Federation” were revealed in terms of ensuring safe conditions for students.
It has been established that in general educational institutions, the management of boarding schools No. 1 and 6, as well as schools No. 17, 28, 27 and 44, allowed major repairs to be carried out in the buildings of educational institutions during the educational process.
Thus, during the inspection, the Balaklava District Prosecutor's Office established that a major renovation of a separate canteen building was being carried out on the territory of boarding school No. 6. The area around the canteen building is not fenced, construction materials and construction waste are dumped directly in front of it, and active construction work is underway inside the canteen. At the same time, 130 students are in the boarding school around the clock, the educational process has not been stopped.
Similar facts were revealed by the district prosecutor in secondary schools No. 17 and No. 28, where a major overhaul of the canteen and toilets is being carried out.
By such actions, the supervisory department emphasizes, the heads of schools and boarding schools violate the requirements of the law, which establishes a ban on carrying out any repair work in educational institutions in the presence of students.
Due to unfinished repair work, all of these institutions began the educational process without having certificates of readiness for the new academic year, since they were not signed by the territorial department of Rospotrebnadzor.
Based on the results of an inspection by the Sevastopol prosecutor's office, acting The city governor submitted a proposal to eliminate violations of the law and bring the guilty officials to justice.
