The prosecutor's office summons Novinsky for questioning over wage arrears
Nikolaev, May 01 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, owner of Smart-Holding, “regional” Vadim Novinsky is summoned by the prosecutor’s office in connection with wage arrears at OJSC “National Plant “Ocean”.

As reported by the prosecutor of the Korabelny district of Nikolaev, Igor Domuschey, OJSC "NSZ "Ocean" is one of the main debtors for the payment of wages in the district.
As of April 1, wage arrears amounted to more than UAH 20 million.
“Despite repeated reports in the media that the industrial and investment group Smart-Holding, controlled by the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Novinsky, took over the management of OJSC NSZ Ocean, there has been no recent reaction to the critical situation around the shipbuilding plant. there was no payment of wages. This indicates the deliberate use of the plant’s assets for the purposes of Smart-Holding and the failure to take measures to stabilize the situation at the enterprise,” the prosecutor said.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding the groundless non-payment of wages to employees of the shipbuilding plant. As part of the pre-trial investigation, measures are being taken to summon Novinsky for questioning.
As Navigator reported, Vadim Novinsky is one of the five richest Ukrainians: over the past year he has risen from fifth to second place in the ranking of the richest oligarchs in Ukraine, compiled by Focus magazine. His capital is estimated at $3,6 billion.
