Maidan prosecutor hints: Sheremet was “taken down” by Poroshenko or ATO militants
The investigation into the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet, who was blown up two years ago in the center of Kyiv, did not work out important details - his criticism of the nationalist battalions fighting in Donbass and the current government shortly before his death.
Vitaly Yarema, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine in 2014-2015, stated this on the Newsone TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“After the crime, there were several versions in the media. Not all versions have been worked out today. This is especially true for the version where Pavel Sheremet, in the last days of his life, criticized the battalions and criticized the authorities. These facts have not been studied.
I have one question today: do the operatives lack experience, some technical or procedural capabilities, or are they not allowed to do this? I cannot answer this question,” Yarema said.
