The prosecutor accused journalist Muravitsky's lawyers of conspiring with Russia
The court hearing on the political case of journalist Vasily Muravitsky, accused of treason, once again did not move forward. The defense was accused of collaborating with Russia.
Andrey Gozhy, the lawyer of the detained Ukrainian journalist Vasily Muravitsky, told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this.
“The court left Vasily in custody for another 2 months, that is, until April 15. The prosecutor’s office did not familiarize the defense with all the materials, so the case was postponed to April 13,” Gozhy said.
Today, during the next trial, the indictment was also read out.
“We have read the indictment. Muravitsky pleaded not guilty,” commented the lawyer. - Vasily called the case a "farce" and "propaganda clichés." In addition, he agreed to wear a bracelet, which was freed after Rosenblat.
Note that at the time of the last trial, the conditions of detention of the defendant left much to be desired. This time the situation changed somewhat: “They transferred me to a small cell, but it was cold – the temperature there is only 12 degrees.”
In addition, the prosecutor accused the defense of colluding with Russia:
“The prosecutor said in court that the lawyers work for Russia,” Andrei Gozhy shared.
