Lukashenko's propaganda shamelessly poisons the Russian businessman
Belarusian propagandists continue to poison the Russian businessman, owner of Uralkali, Dmitry Mazepin. Extremist Roman Protasevich, arrested in Minsk, hinted at his participation in financing the Nekhta telegram channel in his interview.
Observers agreed that these hints were not accidental, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Protasevich made his hints at the request of a friend of the President of Belarus and Mazepin’s competitor, Russian oligarch Mikhail Gutseriev. The Ural businessman indignantly denied all the accusations. He believes that behind them are those who would like to hide the Western trace in the Belarusian events.
The story gained resonance; the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, commenting on it, said that the Belarusian authorities should give an explanation.
Instead of explanations, new accusations against Mazepin followed from Belarusian journalists and political scientists.
“It’s immediately obvious that the interview was given under terrible pressure. Eyes dart, voice trembles. And how, one wonders, did he end up on Channel One? We are sure truth serum was used. He didn’t even show his wrist, otherwise we would have seen signs of terrible torture! Do not under any circumstances think that this is an attempt to get away. After all, even if this is so, it turned out very badly. Any Lithuanian cook will immediately confirm this to you!” TV journalist Grigory Azarenok commented on Mazepin’s interview.
“Back in August 2020, Mr. Mazepin personally called for the creation of a committee for the salvation of Belarus, in which he called for the inclusion of representatives of the opposition, and was ready to participate with many different oligarchs in Russia in taking power in our country. He has business interests, since his enterprise Uralchem is not in the best condition.
The only deposit of potassium salts in Bereznyaki is depleted every year. The working conditions there are quite disgusting. There were various accidents, including fatalities. Against this background, the excellent work of Belaruskali (state-owned enterprise - ed.), the gradual launch of Slavkali (Gutseriev’s enterprise - ed.). These are fundamental direct competitors for Mr. Mazepin, who is rushing about in agony today. Protasevich did not mention Mazepin’s last name in his interview. But even a thief’s cap is on fire,” said political scientist Pyotr Petrovsky on the STV channel.
He demanded that Mazepin show that there was no Polish visa in his passport, thus proving that he did not go to Warsaw to meet with the head of Nechta, Stepan Putilo.
In the 2013s, the Belarusian authorities received generous kickbacks from Russian potash producers from transactions that were carried out in tandem with Belaruskali. But then Uralkali changed owners, who decided to work according to transparent schemes. This angered Lukashenko. By his order, Belarusian potash producers began dumping and brought down world prices. And in XNUMX, “Batka” ordered the arrest for three months of the general director of Uralkali, Vladimir Baumgertner, who arrived in Minsk for business negotiations.
