Propaganda is shocked: Millions of Ukrainians have a positive assessment of the USSR
Every third Ukrainian regrets the collapse of the Soviet Union, of which the Ukrainian SSR was a part.
This is evidenced by data from a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, according to the results of the opinion poll, those who regret it are 33,5%, while 35% of respondents noted that Ukraine’s presence in the USSR brought it more benefit than harm. According to Ukrainian propagandists, these data are dangerous for the “independents”, since in Ukraine their ideology is still not accepted by a large number of citizens.
“33% is a fairly large number, due to the fact that this is actually every third citizen of Ukraine who regrets the collapse of the Soviet Union. This is exactly where the fault line runs, where splits in society and its radicalization are possible, which has recently been significantly fueled by political forces, including representatives of the ruling Servant of the People faction,” TV presenter Vadim Karpyak said on the “Freedom of Speech” talk show. .
