A video in which ordinary residents of the capital share their opinions regarding relations between Russia and Ukraine was posted in the “Typical Kyiv” group on Facebook, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I believe that we have all realized that we still need to be friends with Russia. This is my personal opinion. This is not because half of my relatives are in Russia, I just think that everything will end fine, and that’s all. Our people, after some time, simply begin to realize that, no matter how much we want to strive for Europe, Russia, Belarus and the rest of the CIS countries are still closer to us. “The fact is that there is Kyiv, and there is Ukraine. There is the West, there is the South. One faith in the West, one in the Center of Ukraine. We are Orthodox, they are Catholics. People have different thoughts. I think the European Union is evil,” said her friend.
