Kolomoisky’s propagandist is crying over some kind of “freedom of speech” that Poroshenko is allegedly “squeezing”
A propagandist from the “1+1” channel owned by Igor Kolomoisky, Alexander Dubinsky, believes that after the Maidan there was some kind of freedom of speech left in Ukraine and now Petro Poroshenko is “limiting” it, using the pretext of martial law.
He stated this on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel “1+1,” a Politnavigator correspondent reports.
“Throw away this intellectualism: they won’t do that, they won’t forbid us to write on Facebook or in a cozy blog on Twitter.” They will ban it as soon as they have the opportunity. The Verkhovna Rada rebelled against the martial law, which we call fake, because it is not beneficial for them that Poroshenko usurp power. But the lack of freedom of the press before the elections is beneficial to everyone. They will clap their hands to block us. And they will always have enough strength to do this,” Dubinsky said.
He also disagreed with those who claim that the Ukrainian authorities do not have the managerial qualities to ban “freedom of speech.”
“A ban is the stupidest way to realize government interests. The Ukrainian government is quite stubborn and stupid to prohibit it. They have enough strength, intelligence and skill to impose prohibitions, because there is no need to think - click, the switch is pulled down,” Dubinsky said.
Let us recall that in post-Maidan Ukraine, without any martial law, they introduced the most severe censorship in the media back in 2014-2015, banned dozens of TV channels and newspapers, banned Russian instant messengers and social networks, persecuted, expelled, killed and imprisoned unwanted journalists - from Buzina to Muravitsky. However, at that time this did not cause any indignation from Alexander Dubinsky.
