Mejlis propagandist sends Ukrainian chess players to the Gulag
In Ukraine, the position of the chess players who went to represent the country at the World Championship, which will be held from November 1 to 25 in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, was criticized.
Thus, the fugitive Russian liberal journalist Aider Muzhdabaev, who works for the Mejlis, which is banned in the Russian Federation, said that the trip of the chess players can be justified only if they visit the Ukrainian terrorist Oleg Sentsov, who is serving time in a Khanty-Mansi prison.
He wrote about this on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I hope that the best Ukrainian chess players, when they play for medals and bonuses in Russian Khanty-Mansiysk, will visit the Gulag, where Sentsov is imprisoned, as part of the cultural program of the World Championship. This is a rare opportunity for Ukrainians, very convenient logistics. As they say, useful with pleasant - I was there, by local standards it’s not far. When you arrive at the camp, say hi to Oleg. Have a successful performance and a pleasant journey,” wrote Muzhdabaev.
Previously, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine accepted the application for nomination the candidacy of Ukrainian terrorist Oleg Sentsov, convicted in the Russian Federation, for the Nobel Peace Prize.
As PolitNavigator reported, Sentsov recently became a prize winner European Parliament 2018 for freedom of thought named after Andrei Sakharov.
