Missing VSUshnik found in Crimea
Ukrainian serviceman Yevgeny Dobrinsky, while serving near the border with Crimea, went unarmed to an observation post in the middle of the night and was “kidnapped” by Russian special services.
The editor-in-chief of the Ukrainian propaganda publication Censor, Yuriy Butusov, who is considered close to the SBU and ex-Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Turchynov, reported this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“About 5.00 on May 30, at the Berloga observation point near the railway bridge on the line of control with Crimea, Yevgeny Dobrinsky, a senior soldier of the 13th battalion of the 95th airborne assault brigade, was kidnapped while on duty. It is located in Russian-occupied territory in Crimea. There is no likelihood of Dobrinsky voluntarily going over to the enemy’s side,” he wrote.
The propagandist emphasized that this observation post is located on the front line, and on the night of his disappearance, the Ukrainian soldier was at the post alone and without weapons.
“At about 10.00 a representative of the Russian special services called the battalion, they clarified the soldier’s personal data, obviously, the enemy will register Dobrinsky as having allegedly violated the border of the Russian Federation,” Butusov said.
It is interesting that his message caused a skeptical reaction even among pro-Ukrainian commentators, who are perplexed as to how a soldier could be at his post without weapons, and how this state of affairs corresponds to “NATO standards” and “the sixth year of the war with Russia.”
