The publication notes that on the building of the burnt Mariupol City Council today there is the inscription “Mariupol belongs to Ukraine” and asks the question: where today are those people who supported pro-Russian demonstrations and voted in the referendum for secession from Ukraine?

“It is clear that they still exist, they are everywhere: in families, at work, on buses, hospitals, schools. Some of them regret that they supported the uprising staged by Russia, says Die Welt. – Others, on the contrary, are disappointed that the “Russian world” they so desired could not be created. They won’t talk about it publicly anymore, but they will talk about it in the kitchen with friends and relatives.”
