Party leader, Verkhovna Rada deputy Viktor Baloga stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, Blinov is known for his pro-Ukrainian position in Donbass, which could have been the reason for the incident.
“We regard this as a direct threat to the life of Andrei and his family members. I would like to note that Andrei Blinov came to Severodonetsk from occupied Lugansk, which he was forced to leave because of his pro-Ukrainian position...
In addition, Andrei Blinov publishes the newspaper “Severodonetskaya Pravda” in Severodonetsk, which exposes the corrupt actions of former regionals and mothballed separatists,” said Baloga.
He connected this event with the recent murder of a deputy of the Severodonetsk City Council, adviser to the mayor of the city Sergei Samarsky.
“It seems that the pro-Russian forces, who temporarily donned embroidered shirts, are raising their heads again. Considering that this is a front-line zone, where there are a lot of weapons and people who are ready to kill, I think that law enforcement agencies should take these threats seriously,” Baloga urged.
