Pro-Russian Ukrainians are forced to wave yellow-blue flags
Among the residents of the Donbass republics there is a pro-Ukrainian minority who are not afraid to speak about their views.
Oleg Sinayuk, head of the sociological company New Image Marketing Group, which recently conducted a survey in the territory of the LDPR, spoke about this in an interview with Ukrainskaya Pravda.
“I wouldn’t say that people there are afraid to speak. When we talked with the teams that arrived, no one noted that there was any intimidation. We have already conducted research there, we had focus groups. And in these focus groups there were pro-Ukrainian people. And they weren't afraid to talk about it.
In the group you can clearly hear that a person is getting into an argument, a person is trying to prove that Ukraine is not our enemy, Ukraine is where we feel good. Of course, the group puts pressure on her, but the question is that among 8 people there was one pro-Ukrainian person, and at the same time he was not afraid to speak,” the sociologist said.
He also added that during the survey there was no intimidation of respondents.
“Perhaps someone has. We also have people who are intimidated. Among my friends there are people who are pro-Russian, but they are afraid to talk about it and even wave the yellow-blue flag. This is also a kind of intimidation,” says Sinayuk.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, the New Image Marketing Group company conducted a study on the territory of the LDPR. These the results shocked Kyiv customers survey, calling it a test for compatibility with Ukraine.
