Pro-Russian activists in Nikolaev are threatened with five-year sentences

In these appeals they announce the self-proclamation of the people's mayor of Nikolaev, appeals to the Russian Federation about the introduction of troops and the withdrawal of the Nikolaev region from Ukraine. In addition, the organizers of the rally planned to seize local government bodies in the region.
“Reacting proactively, the prosecutor’s office of the Nikolaev region warns against committing illegal actions and notes that they contradict the Constitution and laws of Ukraine and are a criminal offense, punishable by restriction of freedom for a term of three to five years or imprisonment for the same term,” it says message.
